I had a Windows desktop app designed for me by a developer on vWorker, a couple of years ago. I sell it on TeachersPayTeachers, and I've received positive feedback for it. It just generates random worksheets that teachers can use to teach basic math: addition, subtraction, fractions. I wanted to turn it into an iPad/iphone app for math tutors and homeschoolers, and add a little more functionality to it than it has in the Windows desktop version.
* Ability to generate randomly sorted sandwich recipes, with ingredients broken down by calorie count. The Windows app already does this.
* Ability to create addition, subtraction, and fractions worksheets using these randomly generated recipes. The Windows app doesn't do this.
* Built-in error-check to allow teachers/tutors/students to check their work. The Windows app doesn't do this either.
* Database is hard-coded into the software.
This is what the Windows version is called, on TpT, and you get download it free there to take a look:
I have all the data in a Google documents spreadsheet, the same one I gave the vWorker developer who made my Windows app for me.
I will be using an online simulator to test the product. I do not own an iPhone or an iPad, but my brother does, so I might also have my brother test the product for me. Please bear with me!
