Like the old playground game "assassins", groups of players would try to "tag" each other one at a time.
Tagging your target is accomplished by taking his or her picture. In-app purchases or using in-app points will allow for you to tag your target from a greater distance.
Simply taking the picture gives a chance of a successful tag. In-app purchases or in app points can be used to increase the chances of a successful tag.
After tagging your first target the app tells you who that person's target (your new target) was.
GPS will give a general radius of where your target is. In-app purchases and spending of in-app points will allow for a smaller radius.
Players will be able to agree on "safe zones", where the game can't be played, before starting a game. This zone will need to be agreed to by all players.
If a player knows his or her assassin is nearby he or she can press a "defend" button. This is the equivalent of saying "hey I see you, you can't tag me". The consequence for pressing the defend button when your assassin is not within a "tag radius" is that you wont be able to defend again for 24 hours. If you were right and the person was in fact your assassin then you are defended from him or her until he or she has left the tag radius.
Defenses like "body armor" or "invisibility" will also be for purchase, making you harder to find and lowering the chances that a picture taken of you will be a successful tag.
When a player successfully tags his or her target the picture taken is automatically sent to everyone in that game. If 2/3 of the players verify the tag then it is a successful tag and that player is out.
If a player discovers his or her assassin then he or she can take a picture of the assassin and after it is verified and successful the assassin will be out. Whoever was that person's assassin is now yours.
Verified tag attempts and successful tags earn a person points. Being the last person standing earns substantial points as well. These points can be used for upgrades.
Upgrades purchased or won in-app will do one of the following: make your target easier to tag successfully (improved weapon, improved tracking) or make you harder to tag successfully.
